Yes, it is possible and it is the best way to communicate with KakaoTalk users. You can send an AlimTalk or FriendTalk to the user and the user can directly reply to the same chat. When a user initiate a chat then all messages will be sent as ConsultationTalk.    Note: Alimtalk and FriendTalk are one-way outbound messages initiated by the business. While ConsultationTalk can only be inititated by the user. Template code KakaoTalk requirements state that, the template code to used for sending AlimTalk messages must be no more than 20 characters in length - this includes english letters, numbers, "-", "_", BUT most importantly, no spaces are permitted between the characters.  For example:  delivery-note delivery_note   Template name AlimTalk template names can be up to 150 characters in length. Step 1 collect all information needed:  Once you have a KakaoTalk Business Channel, you will need to provide Sinch with the following information to start onboarding process: KakaoTalk Business Channel Name KakaoTalk Business Channel (search) ID, please provide the ID as exactly appeared on the Korean page and has not been translated You can find this information in your KakaoTalk Business Channel Manager -> Management -> Detailed settings page (상세 설정):  You will also need to make sure that your channel is searchable and is Public. You can find these settings in your Profile settings 프로필 설정 under the dashboard main page:   You will also need to provide the:  contact phone number for the channel's administrator/master (there is only 1 master, and not a manager's number. You can find out who is the master 마스터 by going into Management -> Manager관리자)     Step 2 go to Sinch Dashboard for connection: Once you have all the information needed for connection, go to Sinch.com Dashboard, find KakaoTalk Bar on the left menu, then click ''Connect Channel'':     Copy paste all the information needed on the Dashboard then click ''Continue'' button:     Input your Kakao Talk ''Master Account phone number'' in the section, Sinch will send a verification code to this number through KakaoTalk to validate the channel's ownership. This verification code will be valid for 7 days.    Select the right categories for your channel, then click ''Finish Wizard'': Where to find your category   After finish the Wizard, click''Overview''under the Kakao talk section, then click on the Channel name you just set-up:   Click''Verify Number'' button, Sinch will send a verification code to your master account phone number through KakaoTalk to validate the channel's ownership. If your inbound messages have stopped working, we recommend you first review the information in the following article: Why don't I get inbound messages from KakaoTalk users?    If the issue persists, you may have recently modified the KakaoTalk channel configuration for the corresponding Conversation API app. To review your KakaoTalk channel configuration:   Navigate to your list of apps in the  Conversation API section of the Sinch Customer Dashboard. Select the app on which the KakaoTalk channel is configured. Note: If you have deleted the Conversation API app that was previously functioning, you must contact Sinch customer support for help. Navigate to the KakaoTalk channel configuration. Examine the Enable Chat option: If the Enable Chat option is deactivated, you must toggle it in order to reactivate the chat function. KakaoTalk channel has three BizMessage types: AlimTalk, FriendTalk and ConsultationTalk.  AlimTalk and FriendTalk do not accept sending media message using the GIF format while ConsultationTalk does support  GIF files as long as they are less than 5MB in size.   Sending an animated GIF is a little tricky as the animation will only start when the user opens the image in full. It is important that your media file complies with the KakaoTalk's criteria, which is defined  in the Media Messages section of our KakaoTalk developer documentation: Media included in the Media message will be rejected by the channel if: the width is below 500px, or if the 'width:length' ratio is below 2:1, or above 3:4 or if the image dimension is not equal to [800px * 600px] image file format is different than JPG or PNG file size is bigger than 500KB or for image with dimension [800px * 600px] is bigger than 2MB. AlimTalk is a KakaoTalk channel-specified template message and it requires approval by KakaoTalk. FriendTalk is a marketing message and you don't need KakaoTalk approval for this message type.   When sending an AlimTalk message, you need to specify the template id, recipient, and the set of parameters that you may have defined in the template relevant for the recipient. Here is an example of an AlimTalk template: Template id : package_template Template description: A package #{package_id} has been scheduled to be delivered to you.
