UI component loading issue in Communication Panel

We have identified an unexpected change impacting how the Communication Panel loads the user interface framework components.

If your corporate network, firewall, proxy, or browser security policies block access to domains not explicitly approved, then Communication Panel may fail to load.

If users report that the Communication Panel will not load at all:

  1. Open the affected browser tab and launch Developer Tools (press F12 or right-click and select Inspect).
  2. From the opened console view, select the Network tab.
  3. Look for blocked network requests or security errors referencing:

If you see these errors, your network or browser security configuration is blocking traffic to the new interface framework component host.

To resolve this issue immediately, your IT/Network Security administrator must permit outbound traffic to the new domain:
Domain to Allow/Whitelist: sdk.openui5.org
Protocol: HTTPS (Port 443)

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disruption caused by this unexpected redirection. Our product and engineering teams are also reviewing the topic.

If you have completed the network whitelisting and continue to experience issues, please reach out directly to our support team.

Update 28/09:

Please note that the OpenUI5 URL redirection is no longer active. As a result, the previous notice is no longer urgent, and no customer action is required at this time.

Nevertheless, we will be transitioning to the new URL in the upcoming 27Q1 release. We encourage you to use this time to prepare your environments early.
