Hi ! I'm experiencing a significant delay when using Answering Machine Detection (AMD) in asynchronous mode for outbound calls. Setup: Using AMD with async mode in outbound calls TTS configured to play after call is answered Issue: After the call is answered, there's a 3-5 second delay before the TTS starts playing. This creates an awkward silence that negatively impacts the user experience. Questions: Is this delay expected behavior when using AMD in async mode? Are there any configuration options or best practices to reduce this delay? Any guidance on how to improve the responsiveness would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I have custom callouts with async AMD activated. When I receive a Notify event indicating a human has answered, I update the call (via https://sinch.redocly.app/docs/voice/api-reference/voice/calls/calling_updatecall) with this SVAML: {

Hi, I noticed the OpenAPI spec for the Conversation API contains a problematic circular reference in the AppMessage schema. The generated code shows AppMessage.t containing itself as a field. I encounter few others things also, so I was wondering if the specs updated in the doc ? Thanks,

Hi, I'm having some difficulty with my callouts request with an AMD. I have setup my custom callouts with this ice: %{

}, I also have a simple instruction to set a cookie. I correctly receive the ACE callback with the amd in the payload. I can easily hangup if the amd status is a machine. But when a human answer, if the svaml that I return contains a simple say instruction it works perfectly fine. But if I return a runMenu action, the menu is never trigger and the call hangup. I have custom callouts, and my runMenu action contains both French and English content. I can't find a way to make both languages sound perfect. Currently, I set my action locale to French. For the English parts, I use SSML with the <lang xml:lang='en-US'> tag. The French sounds pretty good, but the English is okay, though not perfect. I tried the other way around: setting the action locale to English and using a lang tag for French on the French parts. However, the French pronunciation was very poor. Is there a better way to do this?

Is the voice tag allow in ssml ? I can't make it work, even a simple example like "#ssml[<speak><voice name='Chantal'>Message en français</voice></speak>]" What I am trying to do is this: I have a 3 level deep bilingual run menu: Main: Asking in english and in french, the callee language. second_fr or second_en: According the selection in the main menu, it will either play the second_FR or second_EN menu third_fr or third_en: Like the second one, based on the language selection of the first menu. I have set the action locale to be in french, since this is the first language in my area. But I feel that the english part in the call sounds weird some time, even if I use the <lang xml:lang-"en-US"> tag where there is some english. If I don't set any locale on my action, the french becomes very bad. Is there a way to do this all in the ACE ?

Hi, I tried the exact same ssml syntax that I use in my run menu, like this: %{name: "say", text: "#ssml[<speak><prosody rate='slow'><lang xml:lang='en-US'>Message</lang></prosody></speak>]"} The call literaly say "Hashtag ssm speak prosody rate equal etc..." Thanks

Hello, I use #ssml prosody to slow the rate of my call in my runMenu action. However, once the caller has made their selection, I have a simple goodbye message in a say instruction. I would like that goodbye message to be at the same rate. Is there a way to use SSML in a say instruction?

After further investigation, it appears that this issue began occurring when we activated the client_reference feature. Additionally, only the phone number for which I requested the feature are experiencing this problem.
