On December 8, 2025, the Customer Administration Portal will be updated with enhancements and fixes.   Updates   Email icon and bulk email options hidden if fax account not allowed to send emails Previously when an Administrator chose to block fax-to-email on an account, a user could still log into the portal and trigger sending one or more faxes to themselves via email. Product changes and fixes for Atlas On December 8 2025, additional feature changes and fixes will be added to the Atlas customer lifecycle management portal to improve user experience and functionality.   Updates - UCaaS   Customer Name now part of Default Shipping Address When an equipment order is shipped, the address information passed to the shipper includes the customer name, along with the shipping address. Partners can set one or more default shipping addresses to use on their orders, but the customer name used on the shipping order is still the customer name used in the Sales Order. This release adds a Company Name field to the default shipping addresses so you can override this behavior.       Initially, this new field is blank so the shipping address behavior will remain as is. If you are using your address as the default shipping address so you can stage devices before taking them to customer sites, but sometimes the UPS or FedEx driver sees the company name and takes the shipment to the end customer instead, this will help prevent that since the full shipping information on the label can be set in the defaults now.     Fixed issue when changing an Atlas user to a channel partner agent Fixed an issue that caused an Atlas user account to be stuck to a specific channel partner. This would happen if the user was updated to a Channel Partner Agent and assigned to a specific channel partner and saved. If you then tried to change the user back to a different type like a regular Atlas user, the user would continue to show in User Management only when filtered under the channel partner agent they were originally assigned to.   Fixed minor issue with resending an activation email to an inactive Atlas user Fixed an issue where a success message was not displayed when trying to resend an activation email to an Atlas user that had not created their account yet. New Features and Updates for the Customer Administration Portal On September 27th, the Customer Administration Portal will be enhanced to support integrating your users to a Microsoft Teams environment.   Microsoft Teams Integration In this release, support for integration to a Microsoft Teams environment is being added. The integration being used is at the user level and not a direct trunking integration. This provides some additional capabilities you might not have with a direct trunking solution.   The user integration allows the end user to use a SIP phone as a desk phone that is directly tied to and managed by your service provider vs needing a special Microsoft Teams phone that is purchased and managed by your IT department. This allows a user to keep some features they have today, like Shared Call Appearances or Busy Lamp Fields for example. The user can take/place calls on their desk phone or their Microsoft Teams client.   A Customer Administration Portal Administrator can set up the Microsoft Teams Integration by using the Integrations, MS Teams menu.       IT Administrators will need to ensure they have the right Microsoft licensing, such as an E5 license or an E3 license with a Phone System license. Contact your Microsoft distributor for assistance with ensuring you have the right licensing.   The MS Teams integration menus will walk you through connecting your Microsoft domain to your Enterprise PBX. You will need your IT global administrator to complete the first part of the setup process.   After that is complete, you will be able to sync your Microsoft users that have the appropriate licenses to you PBX and can then complete license assignment in the Manage Phone System, MS Teams tab.   It can take up to 24 hours for a sync request to complete.   A User Guide will be posted on the steps to enroll your Microsoft domain and the necessary steps to complete the license assignment.   ... New features and updates for the customer administration portal On April 24, 2023, the Customer Administration Portal will be updated with enhancements and fixes.   Updates for the Customer Administration Portal   Support for Grandstream 16-, 24-, and 48-port V1 analog gateways Support is being added for managing Grandstream GXW4216 V1, Grandstream GXW4224 V1 and Grandstream GXW4248 V1 analog gateways.   These are the first generation of these gateways (V1). There are new V2 versions, but we are not supporting those at this time.   These are high-density analog-to-SIP devices for use in applications where a building is pre-wired for analog phones such as nursing homes or hotels.   Once these devices are added to your enterprise, users can be assigned to any of the analog ports.     Information on each of these devices can be found below. New features and updates for the customer administration portal On September 20, 2023, the Customer Administration Portal will be updated with enhancements and fixes.   Updates   Call-in prompt recording for Auto Attendants Currently, prompts for Auto Attendants must be recorded separately and uploaded. In this release, the ability to call-in and record an updated prompt is being added. In order to enable this feature, a passcode must be set for access to the Auto Attendants. To do this, go to the Enterprise settings and choose Auto Attendants in the menu. Click the gear icon to get to the settings.       Then enter a passcode.       On an Auto Attendant that has an external number, edit one of the menu options to transfer the call to extension 2001 and save the new menu.       Once enabled, call the Auto Attendant from an outside number, enter 2001 as the extension and the passcode at the prompt, enter option 1 to configure an Auto Attendant and then follow the prompts for changing the prompt on a specific Auto Attendant.   Fixes   Fix for issues assigning Teams licenses to users A fix has been applied to help address issues where errors were occurring when assigning a Teams license to a user in the Manage Phone System page.     Fixed an import user issue for Enterprises that are not converted to Webex enabled For Enterprises that are not converted to enable the new Webex seats, importing a CSV or users in Administration and Access would fail to import any new user you add that only included the name, email address and role to the CSV. This has been fixed.     Fixed an issue with on-net calling name configuration Use of bulk update to change the on-net calling name for a group of users would not always update the name correctly. Updates for officeXtend rolling out week of Oct 18, 2023 Updates will been released for the officeXtend mobile and desktop apps that includes various bug fixes, along with a feature update.     O365 Outlook Contact Integration   Microsoft Office (O365) Outlook contact integration will be enabled for both the desktop and mobile clients. In the Contacts section of the apps, you'll find a new Office365 option. In the mobile clients, access the Office365 Contacts tab and touch Sign In. Then follow the prompts to sign into your Microsoft account. In the desktop client, click on Settings, then Accounts and choose Sign in with Microsoft.     The sign in option redirects to Microsoft and uses your company sign in process, so we do not have access to your sign in information. If your company has a multi-factor authentication requirement such as using the Microsoft Authenticator App to approve sign in, that will also be part of your sign in process.   Note that you could get a rejection message if your IT department has not authorized this app to access your contacts. You will need to work with your IT department to enable this app to access contacts.   Once logged in, the Office365 section will begin to populate with any personal contacts you have created in Outlook. The Search icon can be used to search your list of contacts.     Note that these are your personal contacts and not domain users and are found in the People section of Outlook.       Poly/Plantronics HUB software support for desktop If you are using a headset from Poly/Plantronics and have the HUB software installed, calls can be answered using controls on the headset. NOTE: Poly LENS is not supported and should not be installed for use with officeXtend.   If you have automatic updates on for the mobile apps, the app will be installed automatically during the release week. If the update has not been applied, open the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) and check if you have any outstanding app updates to apply. New features and updates for the customer administration portal On December 4, 2023, the Customer Administration Portal will be updated with enhancements and fixes.   Updates   Removed device requirement on all standard seats When managing devices, Primer, Precision and Preferred seat types can now be configured to have no device. This is already the case when managing Preferred, Professional and any of the Webex seat options. Only the Fax Line option still requires a device.   This makes it easier when deploying a seat that is used as a only a voicemail box or call parking spot as you no longer have to choose at least the Generic SIP Device as a device option.     Fixes   Fix to allow hunt groups with new Webex-only PBX Fixed an issue where a new PBX with only Webex seats was not being provisioned with the standard hunt group and preventing any additional hunt groups from being created.     Fixed issue with Webex validation for only one email address Fixed an issue with the Webex CSV upload where if only one email address was entered in the file, an error would occur with the Webex validation. A CSV file can now contain one or more entries and will validate properly.     Fixed issue with password reset emails when email alias is used If a user in Administration and Access was configured with an email alias such as user+testing@example.com, the triggered password reset email would go to +testing@example.com. New features and updates for the customer administration portal On February 26, 2024, the Customer Administration Portal will be updated with enhancements and fixes.   Updates Support for an additional Webex seat package - Voyant Calling with Webex Softphone - has been added. When using this seat, the Webex client is trimmed down to only the calling portions of the client with all messaging and collaboration features removed. This applies to the desktop, mobile and tablet clients.   Fixes SIP Trunk load time performance improvements for large customers For UCaaS SIP Trunks, an issue was fixed where trunks with a large quantity of numbers would never load the SIP Trunking section in the Customer Administration Portal. New features and updates for the customer administration portal On September 30, 2024, the Customer Administration Portal will be updated with enhancements and fixes.     Updates - UCaaS   Improved provisioning of Grandstream GXW large-port ATA devices Significant improvements have been made to configuring Grandstream GXW 16-, 24- and 48-port devices. The new configuration screen brings up the current device layout and what’s assigned to each port. Users can then be assigned/unassigned/re-assigned and the updated changes submitted in bulk. The new update feature is available in the Bulk Updates section in the Customer Administration Portal.     Expand Bulk Updates, then choose GXW Devices User Assignment. At the top of the page, choose the Location to filter the list of devices, then choose the device you want to update. The current configuration of the device will be shown. To make any changes, click on the port number you want to update. A drop-down list of all the users in the location that can be assigned will be shown. This includes currently assigned users in case you are swapping port assignments on existing users. When you make a change, a red circle with an x will show next to the port entry. To cancel that change, click the red x and the change for just that port will be reverted.   Once you have made all the changes, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Save. At this point, all the changes will be submitted for background processing. Check back periodically to verify they have completed.     Improvement to compression used to reduce TIF image file sizes An update to the compression used within TIF files was made to reduce the file size. This update will also change the file type in fax-to-email to TIF if that file type is selected for the account so TIF files will be attached instead of PDF.     Updates - Cloud Business Fax   Hide main company number showing in Cloud Business Fax portal Previously, a hold-over company main number was being shown in the Cloud Business Fax portal. This will no longer be shown.     Cloud Business Fax Admins can now adjust settings for Personal Hosted Fax account users Changes have been made so that an Admin user can make setting changes for Personal Hosted Fax accounts.   ... On November 17 2025, the Cloud Connect for Webex Calling (Cisco CCP) portal will be updated with enhancements.   Updates   Admins can now see and assist with users 2FA status Customer Portal Admins can now see which users have 2FA (2 factor authentication) enabled or disabled. If a user has it enabled, the delete icon can be used by the Admin to assist a user that may have trouble logging in using 2FA. This might occur if a user got a new mobile phone and needs to setup 2FA again for example. Simply delete the user's configuration and the user can log back in with their username/password and redo their 2FA setup.     ... View more
