When you register a Brand you can choose to get a trust score (also known as a RISQ score, vetting score, Brand score, or reputation score) from an independent rating agency as part of the vetting process. Trust scores range from 1-100 and are required for Brand verification purposes.   Your trust score, combined with your use case and your traffic volumes, helps carriers determine throughput per second (TPS) and daily messaging cap for your 10DLC campaigns. A higher score could lead to higher TPS.   In most cases the TPS for trustworthy, non-spam use cases will be much higher for 10DLC numbers than other traffic types – up to 30 transactions per second (TPS) as opposed to 1 TPS for P2P long codes for business uses.   Things to note:    When you register your Brand you do not need to go through vetting and get a Brand score. You can run a campaign without a "score", you'll just be in the lowest tiers on certain carriers. If you want to run at a higher rate, before you register your campaign, get your Brand vetted.  You can either go through a standard vet or an enhanced vet. A Standard vet is very similar to running a credit check. Your Brand name, tax ID, address must be exactly the way it is on your tax filing.  If it isn't, it will negatively effect your score.  An Enhanced vet digs in deeper to your organization, it's owners, business practices, lawsuits, etc.  There is no guarantee that an Enhanced vet will increase your score. Emergency ** Notification services designed to support public safety/health during natural disasters, armed conflicts, pandemics, and other national or regional emergencies. Note: Only MNO pre-approved CSPs are eligible for this Use Case. K-12 Education **   Campaigns created for messaging platforms that support schools from grades K - 12, and distance learning centers. This is not for Post-Secondary schools. Post-registration approval by MNO is required for this Use Case. Political ** Part of organized effort to influence decision making of specific groups. Available only to Non-Profit entities with a Campaign Verify token or Aegis Political Vet, or Non Profit entities with a verified 501(c)(3/4/5/6) tax exempt status. Note: Only pre-vetted Brands are eligible for this Use Case. North American carriers are moving away from unsanctioned long codes and are launching 10DLC as a sanctioned A2P messaging service. In order to create this sanctioned channel, carriers are requiring use of the Campaign Registry (TCR) to know who is sending messages and what messaging content is being sent. To submit and send messages using 10DLC, you need to have a Campaign ID. Standard Use Case Campaigns are approved immediately for qualified brands, while some Special Use Case Campaigns are dependent on MNO review times. These Campaigns initially will be in a Review Status upon completion of the registration process. Standard campaigns are generally available to TCR-registered Brands, meaning that approval for a campaign will most probably not require pre/post-registration approval from the MNOs.    Special campaigns are sensitive or critical in nature and, as a result, may require pre/post-registration approval by the MNOs. Vetting or MNO approval may be required before a Brand can register Special Use-Case Campaigns. Brands must be either vetted or receive MNO approval to be able to send Special Use Cases Campaigns. Vetting can be carried on or imported directly through the TCR portal.    Note: T-Mobile/Sprint require 'Special Business Review' for special use-cases or any brands that need higher daily SMS limit. No. 10DLC only applies to long codes. 10DLC or long code traffic in Canada is not sanctioned and not regulated therefore carriers' filter will apply. All +1 numbers can deliver SMS to +1 countries (NANP). Canadian carriers are reviewing the same process of potentially registering local numbers as 10DLC like the US but haven't decided yet.  If you're looking to send messages in Canada and the US, you will need to register your number as 10DLC to ensure successful delivery of messages toward US carriers.
