Issue with SAP BusinessObjects (BO) reports in Chrome and Edge version 110+

When opening a BO report in Chrome or Edge version 110+, the web page gets stuck at "Retrieving Data" and keeps loading indefinitely. 

 

This issue is caused by a defect in Google Chrome Version 110+ or Microsoft Edge Version 110+ frame APIs. SAP and Chromium project are working on a fix.

As a workaround, use:

  • non-Chromium browser (Firefox, IE11, Safari)

or

  • the previous version of Chrome or Edge
