New features and updates for the customer administration portal On December 4, 2023, the Customer Administration Portal will be updated with enhancements and fixes.   Updates   Removed device requirement on all standard seats When managing devices, Primer, Precision and Preferred seat types can now be configured to have no device. This is already the case when managing Preferred, Professional and any of the Webex seat options. Only the Fax Line option still requires a device.   This makes it easier when deploying a seat that is used as a only a voicemail box or call parking spot as you no longer have to choose at least the Generic SIP Device as a device option.     Fixes   Fix to allow hunt groups with new Webex-only PBX Fixed an issue where a new PBX with only Webex seats was not being provisioned with the standard hunt group and preventing any additional hunt groups from being created.     Fixed issue with Webex validation for only one email address Fixed an issue with the Webex CSV upload where if only one email address was entered in the file, an error would occur with the Webex validation. A CSV file can now contain one or more entries and will validate properly.     Fixed issue with password reset emails when email alias is used If a user in Administration and Access was configured with an email alias such as user+testing@example.com, the triggered password reset email would go to +testing@example.com. New features and updates for the customer administration portal On January 18, 2024, the Customer Administration Portal will be updated with enhancements and fixes.   Updates   Improved the load times in the Virtual/Toll Free Numbers menu Enhancements were made to improve the time it takes to load the Virtual/Toll Free Numbers menu in the Customer Administration Portal.   Fixes   Fixed issue with Night Service settings for Advanced Call Centers When using the “Transfer to phone number” option for the Night Service, entering an extension would not allow the option to be saved. New features and updates for the customer administration portal On February 26, 2024, the Customer Administration Portal will be updated with enhancements and fixes.   Updates Support for an additional Webex seat package - Voyant Calling with Webex Softphone - has been added. When using this seat, the Webex client is trimmed down to only the calling portions of the client with all messaging and collaboration features removed. This applies to the desktop, mobile and tablet clients.   Fixes SIP Trunk load time performance improvements for large customers For UCaaS SIP Trunks, an issue was fixed where trunks with a large quantity of numbers would never load the SIP Trunking section in the Customer Administration Portal. New features and updates for the customer administration portal On April 25, 2024, the Customer Administration Portal will be updated with enhancements and fixes.   Updates - UCaaS   Added sorting/search to calling line ID settings When setting the calling line ID number for a user, the list is now sorted and can be searched.         Fixed issue with Virtual Mailbox assignment Fixed an issue where saving a virtual mailbox twice on the same service caused two licenses to be used, and then un-assigning it would remove the correct service but remove one of the extra licenses as well.   ... Updates for officeXtend rolling out week of May 20, 2024 Updates will been released for the officeXtend mobile and desktop apps that includes various bug fixes and improvements   Updates Support added for Yealink BH70 wireless headset     Fixes Fixed attended transfer notification issue Improvements to issues with mobile apps not ringing in a timely manner Fixed ringing issue on the second incoming call with Jabra - Jabra Direct requiring for proper functionality Fixed issue with handling larger image attachments      If you have automatic updates on for the mobile apps, the app will be installed automatically during the release week. If the update has not been applied, open the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) and check if you have any outstanding app updates to apply. New features and updates for the customer administration portal On September 30, 2024, the Customer Administration Portal will be updated with enhancements and fixes.     Updates - UCaaS   Improved provisioning of Grandstream GXW large-port ATA devices Significant improvements have been made to configuring Grandstream GXW 16-, 24- and 48-port devices. The new configuration screen brings up the current device layout and what’s assigned to each port. Users can then be assigned/unassigned/re-assigned and the updated changes submitted in bulk. The new update feature is available in the Bulk Updates section in the Customer Administration Portal.     Expand Bulk Updates, then choose GXW Devices User Assignment. At the top of the page, choose the Location to filter the list of devices, then choose the device you want to update. The current configuration of the device will be shown. To make any changes, click on the port number you want to update. A drop-down list of all the users in the location that can be assigned will be shown. This includes currently assigned users in case you are swapping port assignments on existing users. When you make a change, a red circle with an x will show next to the port entry. To cancel that change, click the red x and the change for just that port will be reverted.   Once you have made all the changes, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Save. At this point, all the changes will be submitted for background processing. Check back periodically to verify they have completed.     Improvement to compression used to reduce TIF image file sizes An update to the compression used within TIF files was made to reduce the file size. This update will also change the file type in fax-to-email to TIF if that file type is selected for the account so TIF files will be attached instead of PDF.     Updates - Cloud Business Fax   Hide main company number showing in Cloud Business Fax portal Previously, a hold-over company main number was being shown in the Cloud Business Fax portal. This will no longer be shown.     Cloud Business Fax Admins can now adjust settings for Personal Hosted Fax account users Changes have been made so that an Admin user can make setting changes for Personal Hosted Fax accounts.   ... If a user has it enabled, the delete icon can be used by the Admin to assist a user that may have trouble logging in using 2FA. This might occur if a user got a new mobile phone and needs to setup 2FA again for example. Simply delete the user's configuration and the user can log back in with their username/password and redo their 2FA setup.     ... View more

On November 17, 2025, the Customer Administration Portal will be updated with enhancements and fixes.   Updates   Admin ability to see all faxes Currently, only the person that sent a fax can see the full list of faxes on a fax account. A new Administrative setting is available that permits an Admin to view all outgoing faxes on a specific fax account. The setting is available per fax account in the Configuration tab.         When the “Allow admin to see all outgoing faxes” option is selected and saved in the fax account configuration, Admin accounts can then see all sent and received faxes. If an End User logs into the portal and chooses to send a fax, they will see a new banner indicating that the Administrator can see faxes sent from that account.       ... View more

Product changes and fixes for Atlas On November 17 2025, additional feature changes and fixes will be added to the Atlas customer lifecycle management portal to improve user experience and functionality.   Updates - UCaaS   Partner customer reports now contain start/end date for each service The Reports button on the Customers tab can be used to get a CSV report of all services on your account. The report has been modified to include a Start Date and End Date column. If the service is still active, the End Date column will be blank.     Default shipping address change now applies to previous orders If you change your default shipping address in Partner Setup, then place an add-on order for an existing customer, your new default shipping address will now show as the selected shipping address for devices on the sales order.     Atlas emails now sent using partner email domain if one is created If you have an email domain setup in Partner Setup, Branding, Email Domain Setup, Atlas emails like Atlas - User Activation emails will now send using that domain instead of the default. This improves your email handling for system generated emails that are meant for your internal partner staff.     Support for Grandstream HT801 V2 Grandstream introduced a new V2 version of their HT801 analog ATA device. We are adding full support for this new version of this device.   At the same time, we are announcing the End-of-Sale of the original Grandstream HT801.   The HT801 V2 is physically identical to the previous device with the exception that each device comes pre-provisioned from the factory with a default password. If the device is factory reset, you may need this password to access the device. The password is printed on the label underneath the device.   These will be available for sale and for BYOD, and remain the same price as the previous Grandstream HT801.       ... View more

The Customer Administration Portal supports adding 2FA (two-factor authentication) as an extra layer of security for your login. 2FA is supported through the use of mobile authenticator apps like Google Authenticator, Cisco Duo and Microsoft Authenticator. These can be downloaded from the app stores.   2FA can be added by each user you have created an account for in your Customer Administration Portal. Administrators also have the ability to see who has 2FA enabled and help manage that setting should a user get locked out.   Setting up 2FA on your login   To enable this feature, login to your Customer Administration Portal. In the upper left just to the right of the logo is your account info. Click the drop-down arrow next to your name and click Account.     Next, scroll down to new Two Factor Authentication section, and move the slider from Disable to Enable.       Once enabled, a QR code will be displayed.     Use a mobile authentication application like Google Authenticator, Cisco Duo or Microsoft Authenticator to scan the QR code. When you open the app on your mobile phone, the apps typically have a + or +Add option to add a new service. Touch that option, then choose to scan the QR code. The app will then enable your phone’s camera. Aim the camera at the QR code on the screen until the app picks up the QR code. Using a QR code is a quick and easy way to add this to your authenticator app.    The app will add this login to your list and generate a 6-digit code. Enter the code from the app and click Submit in the Enter the code here box. The account will now show Enabled.    The next time you log into the Customer Administration Portal, enter your username and password as normal. Then you will be requested to enter a 6-digit code shown in your authenticator app. Find the code next to the entry for your login. The codes have a short time-out, so you may need to wait for the next code to be generated before entering and completing your login.     Additionally, 2FA can be disabled and preserve your 2FA settings so it can be re-enabled later. The 2FA settings can also be deleted by clicking the trash can icon so you can start the process over if you decide to change your mobile authentication app.      Extra tools for Administrators A Customer Administration Portal user’s 2FA status is shown in the Administration->Administration and Access section in the portal. The delete icon will remove that user’s 2FA status so they can login again with just their login ID and password.      The user can then re-add 2FA to their account.       Preventative measures added to help eliminate accidental %markup price changes In Partner Setup for both Devices and Products and Services, a new Apply button has been added to the %markup feature. When you enter a value in the %markup field, the change is not made until you click Apply now. If you do use the %markup feature to make price changes, a pop-up dialog will show when you go to update pricing so you are aware that all pricing will be updated based on the % that was entered.     Removing obsolete twitter configuration from Atlas branding The obsolete twitter configuration is being removed from the Partner Setup->Branding section in Atlas. This will also be removed from the Customer Administration Portal.     Fixed an issue with showing a large number of locations Fixed an issue in Atlas where pulling up a customer with a very large number of locations would time out loading the Locations section.     Fixed an issue with the Partner Setup Directory Assistance toggle Fixed an issue on one Residential seat type where the Directory Assistance setting in Partner Setup was not being honored.     Grandstream GXW4216, 4224 and 4248 V1 large port gateways End-of-Sale notice The V1 models of the Grandstream GXW4216, -4224 and -4248 large port gateways are going End-of-Sale on October 17, 2025. These will be removed from Atlas for new orders but can be used as a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) option. The V2 models of the GXW4216, -4224 and -4248 are the go-forward Grandstream large port ATA models and will still be available for ordering.           ... View more
