Conversation API provides a single, channel-agnostic API that can be used to reach recipients across multiple channels. Sinch takes care of channel integration, content support, contact opt in, capability checks and more. To get started you need to request access:
Requesting Conversation API access for postpaid accounts (invoiced accounts)
If you have a postpaid account (invoiced account) follow the steps outlined below:
- Login to the Sinch Customer Dashboard.
- Select Conversation API from the left menu. The Conversation API page is displayed:
Click the GET ACCESS option (highlighted in red above).
- The Terms of Service are displayed:
Click AGREE AND CONTINUE.
Requesting Conversation API access for new users or prepaid accounts
If you are a new user or have a prepay account and want to access Conversation API for evaluation or testing, then you need to first request access by following the steps outlined below:
- Login to the Sinch Customer Dashboard.
- Select Conversation API from the left menu. The Conversation API page is displayed:
Click the REQUEST ACCESS option (highlighted in red above).
- The Request Access form is displayed:
Click REQUEST ACCESS.
- A message is displayed showing that your request has been sent:
Sinch will notify you on your registered email address once your request has been processed.
Once access to Conversation API has been granted, new options will be displayed in the Conversation API menu in the left panel:
