For Contact Pro on-premise customers who are using Communication Desktop (CDT)
We want to inform you about a known issue regarding the recently released Microsoft Windows update KB5094126. Based on current knowledge, Communication Panel or other user interfaces are not affected.
What is the issue?
Following the installation of Microsoft KB5094126, we have received reports from users experiencing unexpected side effects within the CDT interface. Specifically, the update breaks audio player functionality, resulting in users being unable to listen to recordings and their voicemails directly within the application. The change could affect other functionality as well. If you have any concerns after installing the KB, let us know.
Current recommendation
While development is working on the topic, we strongly recommend avoiding or pausing the deployment of KB5094126 on all workstations running the CDT application.
