Automatic Recharge is a very useful feature where, if your account balance falls below certain predefined thresholds then you can automatically add credit to your account, using your saved credit card details.
Note: This functionality is only available for prepaid accounts.
To enable Automatic Recharge on your account:
Click the Billing option.
The Low credit management section allows you to set a threshold where you will be notified when your available credit falls below the defined threshold(s). You can add a maximum of 3 thresholds.
Enter a value in the first low credit threshold field. Click Add another if you want to add more credit notification thresholds. If you balance falls below this amount, then you will be notified by e-mail. To update your notifications preferences go to: Dashboard Biiling Notifications.
Please make sure the amount you specify is low enough but allows your account to be recharged without consuming all the balance - to avoid getting your account blocked.
To enable automatic recharge, select the Automatic recharge option and set the amount you would like Sinch to auto recharge your account (when your balance falls below the specified Low balance threshold) in the Payment amount field.
You have two options to auto recharge your account:
Charge my card - Select this option to recharge your account using your saved credit card.
Note: To use this option, you need a credit card saved on file – refer to How do I save my credit card details?.
Send me a bank transfer instruction - Select this option to get a bank transfer instruction when your credit reaches the threshold. You will need to initiate the payment. The funds will be added to your account when received into our bank. This can take a few days depending on bank policies, type of transfer and bank location.
Click Save.
