To use the WhatsApp channel of the Conversation API, you must have a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA). WABAs usually undergo the Meta business verification process. If there are any issues during the verification process, you may be required to upload documents that verify your identity or business details.
- If Meta requests that you upload documents to verify your identity, see Types of IDs that Facebook accepts. Such identification may be required if Meta is unable to verify your business' details.
- If Meta requests that you upload documents to verify your business details (for example, your business' legal name, official mailing address, or phone number), see Upload Official Documents to Verify Your Business for information on acceptable documents.
If you encounter any other issues during the verification process, see Troubleshoot Why Your Business Can't Be Verified. If you don't receive correspondence from Meta on the status of your verification for two days, contact your Sinch Account Manager. They will reach out to Meta for an update.
