There are several ways to register and use 10DLC with Sinch. It really depends on what type of customer you are and how you plan to work with Sinch as a provider of 10DLC services. In other articles we have told you about how to create a 10DLC brand and register a 10DLC campaign within our customer dashboard. This article will help you understand which steps to use and why.   There are 3 ways Sinch can help you launch a 10DLC messaging campaign: Sinch is the CSP (Campaign Service Provider). We handle registration in TCR. You can get a number from Sinch or port or host your number with Sinch. You are the CSP and get a number from Sinch or port or host your number with Sinch. You are the CSP and import your own numbers.   Option 1: Sinch is the CSP and you get a number, or port or host numbers with Sinch You will do the following: Create a 10DLC brand and campaign. Get a number from Sinch or port or host your number with Sinch. Sinch will do the following: Review brand and campaign information you provided and then register the brand and campaign in TCR. Publish the 10DLC number in industry routing databases and provision in carrier platforms. Provision number for messaging in Sinch's platform.   Option 2: You are the CSP and you get a number, or port or host a number with Sinch You will do the following: Register a brand and campaign in TCR. Select Sinch as your CNP (Connectivity Partner) in TCR. Get a number from Sinch or port or host your number with Sinch (via customer dashboard or Numbers API). Sinch will do the following: Review and accept the CNP election. Publish the 10DLC number in industry routing databases and provision in carrier platforms.  Provision number for messaging in Sinch's platform.   Option 3: You are the CSP and import your own numbers This is a special case that does not apply to most customers - You must have your own NNID and complete the NNID provisioning process. See the Importing Numbers article for more info.    You will do the following: Register a brand and campaign in TCR. Select Sinch as your CNP in TCR. Get a number from a number provider. Publish the number in the OSR with your NNID, the TCR Campaign ID, and A2P flag. Import number to Sinch (via customer dashboard or Numbers API). To use the WhatsApp channel of the Conversation API, you must have a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA). WABAs usually undergo the Meta business verification process. If there are any issues during the verification process, you may be required to upload documents that verify your identity or business details.   If Meta requests that you upload documents to verify your identity, see Types of IDs that Facebook accepts. Such identification may be required if Meta is unable to verify your business' details. If Meta requests that you upload documents to verify your business details (for example, your business' legal name, official mailing address, or phone number), see Upload Official Documents to Verify Your Business for information on acceptable documents. If you encounter any other issues during the verification process, see Troubleshoot Why Your Business Can't Be Verified. If you don't receive correspondence from Meta on the status of your verification for two days, contact your Sinch Account Manager. In order to use the WhatsApp channel of the Conversation API, you must have a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA). To help ensure the safety of WhatsApp users and the WhatsApp platform, your WABA will likely have to undergo Meta's business verification process.   If you are a direct enterprise customer, and you used the embedded signup feature on the Sinch Customer Dashboard, the entire WABA provisioning and phone number verification process is streamlined and, therefore, can often be completed quickly. However, when you want to start scaling up your business-initiated conversations, you must still complete the business verification process. If you are not using the embedded signup feature (for example, if you are an ASP), you can still create a WABA to use with Sinch's WhatsApp functionality.   In either case, when you are ready to begin business verification, you must manually initiate the process from the Meta Business Manager.   Note: You must be the admin of the Business Manager account in order to verify your business.   During this process, you'll provide information and details about your business. You'll also have to complete a verification step, usually using a verification code sent via text message, phone call, or email. After submission, your information is reviewed by Meta, and you'll be notified when the review is complete.   If you run into any issues during the verification process, or if you encounter a situation in which have to provide additional information or documents (for example, if Meta was unable to match your business details with an existing business entity in their records), see this article for information on acceptable identification and documents.
