Both Sinch Push and Sinch Chat include a free starter tier. For Sinch Chat, the free starter tier includes up to 1,000 monthly active users. A monthly active user (MAU) is a unique user who interacts with Sinch Chat in a given billing month, regardless of how many messages they send. For Sinch Push, the free starter tier includes a low-volume entry point. These tiers allow your engineering team to build a proof of concept before any procurement conversation.
The starter tier uses the same SDK and APIs as production, so what you build in pilot is what you ship. Our developer documentation includes technical information on how to get started setting up Conversation API for use with Sinch Chat and Sinch Push's free tier. Note that, while the technical details are the same, the free tier is designed for pilots and proof of concept, not for production-scale deployments.
After that, Sinch Chat is priced per MAU. Sinch Push is priced per message sent. Volume tiers apply to both, and pricing scales with usage. Detailed pricing is available from your Sinch account team.
There are no message minimums on Sinch Push, and Sinch Chat scales by MAU tier so you only pay for the users you have. Enterprise contracts may include annual terms — your account team can walk through the options.
