10DLC or long code traffic is same as before in Canada, it's not sanctioned and not regulated therefore carriers' filter will apply. All +1 numbers can deliver SMS to +1 countries (NANP). Canadian carriers are reviewing the same process but haven't decided yet.
In general, SC (Short Codes) are the most reliable product for A2P messaging in Canada.
