You have the option to lease your short code directly through the Short Code Registry (www.usshortcodes.com) or have Sinch lease it on your behalf. All fees related to US short codes can be found on the pricing page. For prepaid customers, please note that an invoice will be issued, and payment must be received before we can proceed with carrier submissions.

Sinch will review and submit your short code campaign for carrier approval once compliance standards are met. The approval process typically takes 5 to 8 weeks, and both your brand and campaign must be approved before production traffic can begin. For more information, please refer to the Sinch US Short Code Onboarding Overview, CTIA Shortcode Monitoring Program Handbook, CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, and US Short Code Campaign Compliance Overview, which includes best practices for completing your campaign brief.

For any questions, please contact your account manager.
