The following video shows you how to change extensions in the Customer Administration Portal:
Note: You must be logged in as an Administrator in order to change extensions.
Log into the Customer Administration Portal using the link provided by your provider.
- In the menu on the left, click on Location
- Scroll down and click on All locations or select the location
- Click on the Manage Phone System tab
- In search box in the upper right-hand corner, search by username or phone number
- In the Extension column on the far left, click on the extension link to change.
You can find the rules for extension numbering with the small (i) icon.
Note: You can change extensions on individual services, such as Hunt Groups, directly on the service itself.
