Sinch's Toll-Free Verification Form ensures messages from your toll-free number (TFN) have been verified by the carriers for deliverability. TFNs that are not verified are subject to blocking towards US and Canadian carriers.

You can find a link to the Toll-Free Verification Form in the Sinch Build Dashboard on your toll-free number details page in "Your virtual numbers" and click on the number.

Before you start:

  • Have the toll-free number ready. It must already be on your Sinch account. If not, buy or host a toll-free number first.
  • If you're porting voice and messaging, fill out this this Letter of Authorization (LOA) and Log into the Sinch Support Portal → Submit a request, and select the following:

    • Region: US/Canada
    • Product information: Numbers & Connectivity
    • Numbers: Toll-Free – Voice + Messaging
    • Case Type: Number Porting Issue/Request – VOICE AND MESSAGING
    • NOTE: Be sure to tell us your Account ID, Project ID and SMS Service API you intend to use when the number ports.
  • *Gather the end-business details: legal name, website, registered address, EIN (or the local registration number outside the US), and a main contact.
  • Prepare the opt-in evidence: a public URL to an image showing how customers opt in, plus a written description of the process.
  • Have the business's privacy policy and terms and conditions URLs ready.

*ISVs and resellers: Enter the end-business's information, not your own. The business is the company actually sending the messages and has their name branded in the message content.
