Before you can configure SSO, you must add and verify the email domain your users sign in with. Sinch ID verifies ownership by having you add a TXT record to your domain's DNS.
Note: The SSO feature must be enabled for your account before you can add domains. If you do not see an SSO Configuration section in the left navigation menu, contact Sinch support to request access.
To add a domain, take the following steps:
Enter your domain name (e.g. sinch.com) and click Submit.
Click Ok.
The Domain TXT record has the following fields:
|
Field |
Value |
|
Type |
TXT |
|
Host / Name |
@ (or your domain root) |
|
Value |
sinch-domain-verification=<your-unique-value> |
DNS propagation can take up to several hours. While the domain is In review, you can:
If the check fails, confirm that the TXT record is published correctly and try again after a few minutes.
The Domain can have one of the following statuses:
|
Status |
Meaning |
|
In review |
The domain is awaiting TXT record configuration and propagation. |
|
Verified |
The domain is verified and ready to be used to configure SSO. |
|
Configured |
The domain is configured and SSO is active. |
To remove a domain, click Remove next to a domain and confirm the prompt. This cannot be undone. If you remove a configured domain, SSO will stop working for users on that domain.
