Does E-mail 365 support dedicated IP Addresses?

When working with a new IP, it becomes important that receiving ISP’s are familiar with the IP address.

Shared IP pools allow senders to come online quickly without an IP warming period, which is the gradual process to establish reputation as a legitimate email sender to your recipient’s ISPs. When using a shared IP, emails will be affected by the reputation and habits of all the other senders using that pool of shared IPs.

Selecting a dedicated IP allows customers to establish and build their own IP reputation via warming without any other senders affecting or sharing it.

Important points to note when warming up:

  • A 2–4 week schedule for warm up is typically enough. But some recommend up to 8 weeks.
  • It is important to mail to the most recent and active subscriber list during the warm up period.
  • Maintain a regular rhythm and distribution between various ISP’s in the recipient list (i.e. not to send to 1 yahoo account in week 1 and 50 in week 2).
  • Start with approximately 50 email recipients per day and grow the recipient list 2X daily during the warm up period.
  • Adjust warm up based on bounce / SPAM statistics.
