Adding Bulk Update for emergency call forwards
For accounts with call forwarding allowed, a new Bulk update option has been added for adding call forwards. This is to be used in emergency outage situations where the service (Teams, customer PBX, etc) is down and a handful of key numbers need to be forwarded quickly.
The template can be downloaded and this will contain a list of current numbers. Remove all the rows that won’t be forwarded. Then edit the CALL_FORWARDING_ENABLED column and the CALL_FORWARDING_NUMBER column for the numbers you do want to forward. By maintaining two of these - one to turn on forwarding for the numbers and one to turn it off - you can apply and remove the forwarding during an outage quickly.
NOTE: This feature is not to be used to keep forwards in place for extended periods.
