On April 24, 2023, additional feature changes and fixes will be added to the Atlas customer lifecycle management portal to improve user experience and functionality.
Support for Grandstream 16-, 24-, and 48-port V1 analog gateways
Atlas ordering and provisioning is being added for supporting the Grandstream GXW4216 V1, Grandstream GXW4224 V1 and Grandstream GXW4248 V1 analog gateways.
Note:
These are the first generation of these gateways. There are new V2 versions, but we are not supporting those at this time.
These are high-density analog-to-SIP devices for use in applications where a building is pre-wired for analog phones such as nursing homes or hotels.
Enable these devices in your Partner Setup. When placing on a sales order, order all the user seats and specify a Generic Device for those users. Then place the type and number of gateways needed as a Device Only order:
NOTE: These are long-lead time devices and can take time to get available stock. Please plan ahead when these are needed.
Once the order is provisioned, users can be assigned to the specific ports in either the Atlas Customers tab or in the Customer Administration Portal.
Customer Reference Tag can now be edited or added
For residential orders in Atlas, a Customer Reference tag can be added to the sales order if you want to add a number for your own tracking, such as billing ID from your own billing system. With this update, you can now edit the existing tag or add one if one didn't exist previously.
Residential address validation API is now fixed
The Residential API used to perform address validation checks has been fixed and will now return correct validations for service addresses.
Provisioning server will again show correct source IPs
The provisioning server information shown in Customers tab, Devices section will now show the correct source IP for devices reaching the provisioning server.
