SAP Marketing Cloud - One Click Unsubscribe button not visible in emails

Dear Experts,

We have an SAP Marketing Cloud license; therefore, we are using Sinch Email 365 as our ESP.

My question is related to the new Email Deliverability Requirements, in specific the "one click unsubscribe button".

In our SAP Marketing Cloud tenant, we have configured for Automatic Unsubscribe for Emails (List Unsubscribe) for that configuration we have used the email address that is presetted and recommended for customers with Sinch Email 365 (unsubscribe@eusmtp.email.sdi.sinch.com).

But when we tested receiving an email, no unsubscribe button or any link in the email body or header of the email is visible.

From Sinch Email 365, when using the email address what is the expected result?

To enable the one click unsubscribe button is there any additional step we must configure? I thought only the email address was necessary for the unsubscribe button to be visible, but are we missing something?

Thanks in advance,

Rebeca.

Hi Rebeca,

I have heard back from the Email 365 time and they have said that Gmail displays the unsubscribe button/link for some senders and not all; please see details in the link below:

 https://support.google.com/mail/thread/49653586/list-unsubscribe-header-not-providing-the-option-to-...

Also, based on the Official Gmail Blog:

This only works for some senders right now. We're actively encouraging senders to support auto-unsubscribe — we think 100% should. We won't provide the unsubscribe option on messages from spammers: we can't trust that they'll actually unsubscribe you, and they might even send you more spam. So you'll only see the unsubscribe option for senders that we're pretty sure are not spammers and will actually honor your unsubscribe request. We're being pretty conservative about which senders to trust in the beginning; over time, we hope to offer the ability to unsubscribe from more email.

Please reach out to us again if you have any additional questions.

Thanks and kind regards,
