To create a resource associated with one of Sinch's products, a project is required to hold it.

Upon account creation, your first project is automatically assigned to your account. To identify the project, it is also given a unique alphanumeric identifier that ties it to your account. Sinch projects are the primary way to group resources together to simplify management, access to, and billing of your resources.

Projects can be used to obtain access separation such that application workloads may have access to some projects but not to other projects.  This is achieved by creating a unique API key per project.

A Sinch account may own multiple projects, typically one per customer application, environment or team that is using Sinch services. Projects can have subprojects.
