Is it possible to send EMOJI / emoticons characters?
Yes, EMOJI / emoticons characters are supported as part of the UNICODE standard.
Note: This applies only to MT messages. Additionally, these characters are only be supported on select Operators that support UCS2, namely Verizon Wireless, AT&T and T-Mobile. Sprint does not support EMOJI / emoticons characters.
