Now use AIXtend to generate a cover page from your fax content!
A new AIXtend feature has been added to the Fax products allowing you to quickly and easily generate a cover page that includes a short summary of the fax contents. This feature builds on our previous fax cover sheet template generation, and uses the same internally hosted open source model designed to keep your data secure. An administrator can enable the use of this feature on each fax account. The default is disabled, so Administrators must opt-in to this service. Note that we do not use your content for training purposes.
By providing per-fax account granularity, you can keep the service disabled on fax accounts where your internal policies might prevent use of this service, while making this a convenient-to-use feature on accounts that can benefit from the quick summarization.
When an end-user sends a fax from the portal, they can upload their document and then choose Generate Cover Page if the Administrator has enabled it on the sending fax number. A short, concise summary will be generated describing what is being sent along with the opening and closing fields to fill in. Since the content is AI generated, users should review the summarization prior to sending.
Fixes
Fixed issue with fax cover page template deletion
If a cover page template was assigned as the default cover page for a fax account and that fax account was then cancelled, the fax cover page template could no longer be deleted. This has been fixed.
Update to TTS description text on file name characters
When naming a filename, some special characters were allowed to be entered, but would result in file upload error. The list of supported characters is now being properly handled.
