Service Plan IDs are used to authenticate when using the Sinch SMS API. When using the Send Batch operation of the SMS API, it is possible to send MMS messages to recipients by setting the type field to mt_media.
Note: At this time, the SMS API only supports mobile terminated (MT) MMS messages. That is, the SMS only supports sending MMS messages. Mobile originated (MO) MMS message support, or support for receiving MMS messages, is currently under development.
When using the standalone MMS API, MMS messages cannot be submitted through an SMS Service Plan ID. The standalone MMS API does not use Service Plan ID; it uses a separate MMS API key.
