When sending messages to different countries, customers are obligated to comply with all applicable regulations and requirements pertaining to that country. The Sinch Customer Dashboard contains comprehensive Country Information pages, which detail regulatory and compliance information to help you communicate successfully with different countries.

To access the country information, take the following steps:

Login to the Sinch Build Dashboard.
Select SMS from the left menu and select the Country Information option under the Tools submenu. The Country Information page is displayed:
Select the country for which you would like more information about from the Country dropdown and click Display information. In this example, we have selected Japan:

In most cases, the information displayed applies to SMS messaging. Categories displayed will vary depending on available information.

For Japan, we see the major operators, supported features, 1-Way and 2-Way communication options, number portability being available, forbidden content types, and links to regulator info.

Important: Take careful note of the message at the beginning of the page. Country information can change, so check back regularly.
