Natural Language Understanding (NLU) supports the following two engines:

Chatlayer's NLP engine: a general-purpose chatbot was created using prebuilt intents available on Chatlayer, and its NLP engine has already been trained by us.

Ludwig: an NLP engine developed by Sinch to be fully managed using the API. Before using it, you should already have some real training data - preferably from real users, but handcrafted data will also suffice. The NLP engine will be trained using your dataset.

In both cases, 100+ languages are supported.

If you are interested in using NLU, or if you have any questions or want to learn more, contact Sinch or reach out to your Sinch Account Manager.
