&lt;LI&gt;SMS API customers send their SMS request to Sinch as normal, hence no integration changes for existing customers wanting to onboard to our RCS Upscale solution. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Sinch performs an on-net capability check to determine if the country has RCS coverage and whether RCS Upscale is configured. If the answer is yes, we check whether the contact has an RCS-compatible device.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Based on these conditions being met and by&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;performing a capability check upfront&lt;/SPAN&gt;, we either send a business message to a customer as RCS (to&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;RCS-enabled devices)&lt;/SPAN&gt; or SMS to the rest:
