&lt;P&gt;The "Zero-Trust" part of ZAP comes from&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A class="external-link" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zero_trust_security_model" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"&gt;zero trust security models&lt;/A&gt;. It refers to the fact that no data should be implicitly trusted and should always be authorized on behalf of some authenticated identity.&lt;/P&gt;
