Payload Error - Android Error

Hi!
I'm working with the Android SDK, it's an inherited project
I have the following error:
Payload is not a valid Sinch push payload SinchError[errorType=GENERIC, code=5001, message='', data={}]

But I don't understand the error. Can someone please help me understand the error?

Lets see if we can help, as we cannot see the error reference,

Please can you confirm;

You are using the latest SDK version for Android https://developers.sinch.com/docs/in-app-calling/sdk-downloads/
You are following the guidelines for push here: https://developers.sinch.com/docs/in-app-calling/android/push-notifications/
Tested with your push credentials on our packaged sample applications included in the SDK or from our set of reference applications https://github.com/sinch/rtc-reference-applications

If you have a call-id or server-reference then this would help us to see what the issue might be.

Yes I have do everything you mention there.
I recibe the Firebase notification for testing, the problem is when I get the notification.

Please tell me what information do you need and I add it to you.

The payload you are passing is still not valid.

Is this error when using the sinch-rtc-sample-push sample that comes with the SDK? If not then please test with the sample first.

Please also check the version of the SDK you are using. If the SDK version 4 or below then please use the latest SDK version.

If you can replicate this with the sample application and are using the latest SDK I invite you to open a support ticket and include the Logcat output from Android studio.

Hello Roland.

Thank you very much for your kind answer.
I did a test with my keys at https://github.com/sinch/rtc-reference-applications the calls do appear in the Sinch Dashboard log, but on my devices I can't receive any calls.
As the README of the document indicates, I put my keys and my Google Services JSON, but when I want to make a call, it does not reach any device.

On the other hand, I don't understand how your sample application is built, because I followed the tutorials at https://developers.sinch.com/docs/in-app-calling/getting-started/android/create-app/ but it seems to me that the code is incomplete or something is wrong with it.

If you could give me advice.

Hi,

You need to provide your FCM credentials as per instructed here:

https://developers.sinch.com/docs/in-app-calling/android/push-notifications/#google-fcm-push-notifications

However currently our upload is disabled so I have sent you details on how to proceed separately.

The call-id you gave me there, the only device that had a push token was the Android Emulator you are using. The push token was sent and Google/firebase confirmed receipt of it.

Have you enabled Google Play services on the emulator as push will not work on it without it?

I have tested a call towards an Android Pixel 3 emulator (API 28) with Play services version 483592595 and push was received ok.

If you use the push sample look in Logcat for these messages

The other two physical handset devices (I wont mention the makes here). Did not have push tokens associated with them so the clients were stopped.

Suggestion: Can you test a call with two physical devices with push as well? It is good to do test push on actual physical handsets as well as the emulator.

Also ensure you have the correct package name in your google-services.json, in the case of the samples its:

"package_name": "com.sinch.android.rtc.sample.push"

The data they provide is from the last call that was made, since then no more have been possible, I just tried with 2 physical devices but it did not work and they were not registered in the call records panel.

You can provide the output via Android Logcat from the Sinch Client starting
